It’s quickly apparent that Caitlin Carmody is a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm.

Today, just a few minutes removed from the region’s prime tourist spaces, hundreds of youngsters in serene settings are playing, learning, building character and making connections that may change their lives forever.

Ask anybody. Lake Geneva is stunning waterfront estates, world-class resorts and spas, top golf courses, high-end shops and fine dining.

Beautiful Lake Geneva – the “Newport of the West” – is known for a lot of wonderful things.

Is anything more noble – or more daunting – than the challenge of chasing a cure for cancer?

Two words sum up Chris Buttleman’s outlook on life. “Music saves.” The founder-owner of the Lake Geneva House of Music lives and works to the rhythm of that beat.
