The WNAF Collegiate Better Newspaper Contest recognizes excellence in student journalism across the state. It is open to all active campus newspapers covering Wisconsin public and private college and university campuses.
The submission period for the Collegiate Better Newspaper Contest is now open. All entries must have been published between Jan. 1, 2025 and Dec. 7, 2025. This year’s contest is being judged by members of the Colorado Press Association.
Entries must be uploaded by 10:59pm, Monday, January 12, 2026.
Awards will be presented in Madison, during the Branen Family Student Luncheon at the WNA’s Annual Convention on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
