Manoyan covered a variety of sports during his time in Milwaukee, including the Green Bay Packers, UW football and basketball, and several PGA Tour events. He retired from the newspaper in 2009.

In 2007, he published his first book, “Men of Granite.” The book earned Manoyan a spot in the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2013. He also published “Alan Ameche: The Story of the Horse” in 2012.
