Watertown Daily Times honors Dave Thorman

Longtime Watertown Daily Times employee Dave Thorman was recently honored for his 25 years of service with the company, the newspaper announced last month.

Thorman began his career with the Daily Times on Nov. 25, 1997, where he started in the mailroom. He worked the bundling machine, which wrapped the news editions into stacks before they were carted off to the delivery drivers’ vehicles. Thorman eventually became a part-time delivery driver and was named a full-time driver in 2010.

Thorman worked at the Daily Times building on Main Street for 22 years and for three years at its new location at 218 S. First St.
