RICE LAKE – The Chronotype will move to a new location at the end of January, leaving its home of more than 60 years, the newspaper announced Wednesday.

The building at 28 S. Main St., which had housed the Rice Lake newspaper since 1957, was not included in the August 2014 sale to Adams Publishing Group. The newspaper’s former owners — Warren, Bob and Jim Dorrance — recently sold the building, which will be converted into an Ace Hardware store.

The newsroom will move down the road to 326 S. Main St., Suite 102.
