Election 2020 virtual symposium: What happened and why?

Join the UW-Madison Elections Research Center for a virtual symposium on the results of the 2020 general election. A panel of experts will analyze the results and explore topics, including the concerns of voters, partisanship in the electorate, consequences of the pandemic, and swing state dynamics

Panelists include:

  • Barry Burden, Professor of political science and director of the Elections Research Center
  • Michael Wagner, Professor of journalism and mass communication at UW-Madison
  • Rachel Blum, Professor of political science at University of Oklahoma
  • Jonathan Ladd, Professor of government at Georgetown University
  • Chryl Laird, Professor of government at Bowdoin College
  • Chris Tausanovitch, Professor of political science at University of California – Los Angeles

The symposium is open to the general public, but you must register to attend.
