Meg Theno, who served as Wisconsin State Journal photo editor for seven years and spent nearly two decades at Madison newspapers, died Tuesday at age 66.

Harlan Draeger, a versatile and prolific news reporter who worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Daily News, Kenosha News and Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune died last month at the age of 90.

Jacob Branen, whose family owned the Burlington Standard Press for nearly 50 years, was killed Feb. 4 when struck by a vehicle while walking home from work. He was 29.

Gerald “Jerry” Merryfield, who worked for 30 years at the Eau Claire Press Company, publisher of the Leader-Telegram, died Saturday, Feb. 9. He was 82.
