Sports Reporter

The Edgerton Reporter is looking for an enthusiastic Sports Reporter to cover local high school and youth sports, as well as special golf coverage featuring local PGA Tour star Steve Stricker.

Responsibilities include:
• Covering school sporting events and tournaments
• Writing game stories, athlete profiles, and feature articles
• Taking sports photographs
• Interviewing coaches, athletes, and community sports figures
• Assisting with golf and special-event coverage involving Steve Stricker and other notable local sports personalities

The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, knowledge of sports, and the ability to work evenings and weekends during sports seasons. Experience in journalism or sports reporting is preferred but not required.

Compensation based on experience.
