The contest asked Wisconsin youth to submit editorials or cartoons expressing their thoughts on the First Amendment. Entries were judged on adherence to the theme, quality of writing or artwork, originality, and proper use of grammar, spelling and punctuation. The awards are funded by Universities of Wisconsin.
