Workshop for Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin Reporters on Covering COVID-19 Relief for Schools
Experts will explain how the funding works, along with how to dig into the recovery strategies states and districts are implementing. Speakers will provide concrete examples of how this money is being used in your state. Attendees will walk away with story ideas and sources to follow up with.

This is a reminder that we will be hosting a FREE half-day virtual workshop designed to help reporters who cover Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota education better understand and report on the millions of dollars in federal pandemic relief flowing to schools in their communities.
The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern/9 a.m. to noon Central and is free for EWA members. And EWA membership is free for journalists! Anybody who is not already a member can apply here. After the application has been processed, they’ll be able to register for the workshop.
