Thomas R. Daniels, longtime Middleton Times-Tribune editor and publisher spent nearly a quarter century at the newspaper.
A World War I veteran and UW-Madison graduate, Daniels taught agriculture for a year at Middleton High School before he purchased the newspaper.
Daniels served as editor and publisher of the Times-Tribune from 1924 until his unexpected death in 1958.
He died May 30, 1958, suffering a heart attack after marching in a Memorial Day parade. He was 61.
