Three Multi Media Channels newspapers moving to new office

MAYVILLE – Three Multi Media Channels newspapers — the Campbellsport News, Kewaskum Statesman and (Mayville) Dodge County Pionier — will relocate in January to a single office in the village of Theresa in Dodge County.

The Wrigley’s advertisement, soft top vehicles, hats, and clothing date the photograph to circa 1920. Band members appear to wear military uniforms which may date the photo to the end of World War I. The move follows the sale of the Pionier building in Mayville. Also up for sale is the building in Campbellsport, which since April 2019 has housed both the News and Statesman.

MMC acquired the three newspapers in March as part of a merger with the Wisconsin Free Press group. Andrew Johnson, a Wisconsin Newspaper Hall of Fame member and past president of the WNA and WNA Foundation, previously served as publisher of the newspapers, as well as co-owner, along with his wife, Laura Johnson.

In announcing the move to a single shared office, the newspapers ensured readers they would maintain an active presence in all three communities.
