LAKE GENEVA — Stephanie Jones has been named managing editor of the Lake Geneva Regional News, the Wisconn Valley Media Group announced Wednesday.
Jones has served as managing editor of The Journal Times since February 2016. She previously worked as a reporter for the newspaper, covering a variety of beats over her first eight years in Racine.

Tom Farley, who had served as news editor since July 2000, will succeed Jones as interim managing editor. Farley first joined The Journal Times in 1990, and aside from a two-year stint with the Kenosha News, he has been a fixture in the newsroom ever since.
Scott Williams, previous editor of the Regional News, is moving to a reporting role at The Journal Times. He will focus on Burlington and western Racine County.
The Journal Times, Kenosha News and Lake Geneva Regional News all are part of Lee Enterprises’ southeastern Wisconsin-based Wisconn Valley Media Group.
