This free course will teach skills every journalist needs for reporting in the digital age. You will learn a broad range of practical tools that you can use immediately as well as in the upcoming election cycle. During this 2.5 hour training, we will cover: Google Fact-Check Explorer, Google Data GIF-maker, Google reverse image search for fact-checking, YouTube Dataviewer, WatchFramebyFrame for video fact-checks, Google Dataset Search, data scraping with Google Sheets, Google Flourish, and a host of Google Earth tools.
*Participants should bring a laptop (not a tablet) to the session and have a free Flourish.studio account set up prior to the session.
