MILWAUKEE – Three former Milwaukee Journal Sentinel journalists are among eight inductees to the Milwaukee Press Club’s Media Hall of Fame for 2019, the club announced Monday.
Alan J. Borsuk, Meg Kissinger and Tim Cuprisin will be honored along with the other inductees on Friday, Nov. 1, in the Woodland Dreams Ballroom at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. The event, which is open to the public, begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m., immediately followed by the induction ceremony.
Borsuk, a senior fellow in law and public policy at Marquette Law School, worked 37 years at the Milwaukee Journal and Journal Sentinel as a reporter, columnist and editor. He was best known for his work as editor of Wisconsin, the Sunday magazine of the Journal, from 1986 to 1994, and for his reporting on education issues in Milwaukee from 1998 to 2009.
