BARABOO – Nicole Aimone, a recent UW-Whitewater graduate, joined Capital Newspapers last week as a county government reporter.
Aimone will cover Columbia and Sauk counties for the Portage Daily Register and Baraboo News Republic. She also will help cover local government for both newspapers as well.
After growing up in the Chicago suburb of Plainfield, Ill., Aimone studied journalism and medieval history at UW-Whitewater. While in college, she also served as editor-in-chief of The Royal Purple student newspaper.
