FORT ATKINSON – Henry Redman joined the Daily Jefferson County Union staff last week as a reporter and photographer, the newspaper announced Tuesday.
Redman, who graduated last month from Loyola University in Chicago, will cover city council, police, schools and courts in Fort Atkinson. He’ll also write feature stories and shoot photos.
In college, Redman served as sports editor and editor-in-chief during his four years at The Phoenix student newspaper. He also worked as a reporter at the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Though Redman grew up in Cleveland, his family has ties to Wisconsin, including relatives in the La Crosse area. Both of his parents also graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
