MERRILL – After nearly 17 years at the Merrill Foto News, editor Collin Lueck is leaving the newspaper this week for a new job in marketing.
Lueck announced his departure Wednesday in a column. He will begin his new role Monday at Church Mutual Insurance Company.
In his column, Lueck noted he had “put to bed” roughly 850 issues of his hometown newspaper. He called it “an honor to record even a small piece of Merrill’s history.”
Longtime reporter Jeremy Ratliff will lead the Foto News editorial department until a new editor is found.
