Marshfield Hub City recently added Derrain Braun to the position of News Editor. Braun, who has been a Hub City staff writer for the past year, grew up in Marshfield and enjoys the small town atmosphere. She attended UW–Wood County and enrolled in as many writing courses as she could. She said that writing has always been something she enjoyed and has always been passionate about.
One of Braun’s goals to continue building relationships throughout the community and ensuring local voices and stories have a place in the Hub City Times. A native of Marshfield, she appreciates the people, businesses, organizations, events and everyday moments that make a Marshfield and community.
