A friendly reminder: Please add the public notice code – WNAXLP – to all notices, especially inserts or the sample ballots that are to be placed in newspapers.

If the county is publishing the sample ballot for insert in your newspaper, please remind the County Clerk that the WNAXLP code must appear on each page of the ballot.
If you have forgotten to include the code on a notice, contact WNA with the newspaper name, date of publication and page number.
Public Notice information is available on the WNA website – such as the certification process, how to measure font sizes and columns widths, how to calculate your public notice rates and how to properly code notices.
Please make sure the contact info that is on the Wisconsin Public Notice website is correct. Contact WNA Assistant Executive Director Denise Guttery if that contact information needs to be updated or if you have any questions.
