Zack Goodrow, the current editor of the Watertown Daily Times, is now the editor of the Daily Union, too.
A piece in the March 30, 2026 issue of the Daily Jefferson County Union outlined the promotion. According to the story:
With help from current Daily Union reporter Samantha Erstad and Jefferson County reporter James Kuckkan in the WDT office — along with the excellent coverage from Abigail Karbusicky at the Leader Independent — the paper will be packed daily with quality local news.
“Before becoming the editor of the Watertown Daily Times, I spent nearly two years covering municipal government and other local stories for WDT,” Goodrow wrote in the story announcing his promotion.
Goodrow graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. and has spent his professional career with Adams MultiMedia, contributing to the Janesville Gazette and other titles in Southern Wisconsin along with his work in Watertown.
Former editor Karyn Saemann will shift her focus back to her responsibility as editor of the Janesville Gazette.
