Following the sale of Berlin Journal Newspapers this past summer, and beginning with the Jan. 15 editions, printing of the Berlin Journal, Green Lake Reporter, Markesan Regional Reporter, Princeton Times-Republic and Omro Herald, has moved to Finger Printing & Publishing’s primary facility in Black Earth.
A story in the Jan. 15 issue of the Green Lake Reporter covered the change. According to the story:
Commercial printing, including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, posters, and more, will remain at Berlin Journal Newspapers’ offices at 301 June St. in Berlin.
With the move to a larger print facility, the newspapers are also making the transition to a single-sectioned publication effective immediately.
“We are taking extra care to ensure that all the news we previously provided will continue to be available in each week’s publication, albeit potentially in a different area of the newspaper,” said Scott Mundro, Berlin Journal Newspapers editor.
Following local news in the first several pages of every edition will be county/area news, followed by “Out & About,” Sports, opinion, obituaries and classifeds.
