CFINR seeks entries for third annual reporting contest

The Center for Integrity in News Reporting is seeking entries for its third annual, $150,000 Awards in News Reporting Contest. The contest began accepting entries on Jan. 2, with the deadline to submit entries for 2025 being Feb. 16, 2026.

The awards are given in the spirit of former New York Times and Chattanooga Times publisher Adolph Ochs’ adage, “To give the news impartially, without fear or favor . . .”

Six prizes of $25,000 each will be given for the most fair, impartial, objective news reporting “that has the courage to not fear and the discipline not to favor” in print, broadcast, television and digital reporting categories.
