Lake Geneva Regional News recently welcomed Kaitlyn Hupp as the new local Sports and General Assignment Reporter this past week. An article appeared in the Oct. 22, 2025 issue announcing the new reporter.
Originally from Kenosha, Hupp attended high school at Indian Trail Academy.
After high school she attended UW-Oshkosh where she graduated in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree for a double major in public relations and multimedia journalism with a certificate in advertising
During post graduation, she worked as a marketing and retail management teacher at Bradford High School in Kenosha. She went back to school in the fall of 2024 to pursue a master’s degree in sports management with a goal of eventually working in professional sports. She graduated with that degree in May.
“After a few years working in collegiate sports media and a summer interning for the Milwaukee Milkmen, I transitioned to Lake Geneva to start my career combining my love for sports and journalism! I look forward to bringing you news and stories about the local high school sports in the area along with anything else happening in town.
