Josh Flickinger has returned to the Beloit Daily News as a sports reporter, as announced in the Beloit Daily News on Oct. 15, 2025.
Flickinger served as a reporter and then Co-Sports Editor with the legendary Jim Franz from 2012-2022. During his tenure with the Daily News, Flickinger won several Wisconsin Newspaper Association awards, including three coveted first-place awards.
A native of Clinton, Flickinger and his wife of 25 years, Angie, have three children.
“We are very fortunate to have Josh back at the Daily News,” said Beloit Daily News Editor Clint Wolf. “He
is very familiar with the local sports scene and is able to bring a lot of experience and knowledge to the sports desk.”
