The site newmedia-wi.com has been redesigned to offer a “more streamlined appearance” with quick access to story and photo packages. The new site — which offers free access for everyone — allows users to experience bigger, bolder photos. A revolving carousel of news stories with photos is underneath that section, and a roundup of the most recent stories can be found on the right side of the site.
In addition to the major news stories, there are dedicated pages for obituaries, sports, community news, opinions, e-editions, and the Green & Gold Express.
All of the news for the Shawano Leader, Oconto County Times Herald, and Wittenberg Enterprise and Birnamwood is combined under one heading. Before the transition to the new site, newmedia-wi.com was averaging more than 50,000 views each month and more than 15,000 active users.
