
The Milwaukee Press Club recently announced the outstanding journalists who will be inducted into the club’s Media Hall of Fame for 2025.
This year’s honorees will be inducted into the Milwaukee Press Club Media Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 in the Simone Ballroom at the Saint Kate — The Arts Hotel, located at 139 E. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee. The Wisconsin Newspaper Association is a presenting sponsor of the 2025 Milwaukee Press Club Media Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a networking reception, following at 6:30 with the dinner and ceremony in the Simone Ballroom.
“Our Hall of Fame keeps getting better and better,” said Tom Daykin, press club president-elect. “This year’s honorees represent the best in local journalism. It’s so critically important to celebrate their impactful work and dedication to our industry and community.”
The 2025 inductees to the Media Hall of Fame are:
• Tannette Johnson-Elie, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service and University of Wisconsin-Parkside (retired);
• Morry Gash, Associated Press;
• Kristyn Halbig Ziehm, Ozaukee Press;

• Tom Heinen, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (retired);
• Lori Nickel, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel;
• Sean O’Flaherty, TMJ4; and
• Mike Strehlow, CBS58.
