Former Sheboygan Press journalist Janice Henschel of Plymouth died Sept. 16, 2025 at 86 years of age.
The 1957 Sheboygan North High School graduate was employed as a journalist by The Press for 35 years, retiring in 2001.
She is survived by two sons, grandchildren, cousins, great nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by two husbands — Eric, in 2016, and, Gene Henschel, in 2008.
In lieu of memorials, the family requests donations to the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Native American Heritage Association.
