Citing increasing production and delivery costs, The Superior Telegram is moving its publication day from Friday to Saturday, and will continue to be delivered by mail beginning in October.
A story in the Sept. 19, 2025 issue explained the changes.
“This change will align the publication day of the Telegram with the Saturday edition of the Duluth News Tribune, allowing us to save on growing delivery costs and create ad design, layout and other efficiencies,” the story reads. “The change will also help advertisers deliver consistent and timely messages across all three markets on the same day.”
The Telegram change won’t impact DNT’s publication schedule.
The Telegram will continue to publish a Tuesday e-edition as well, according to the story.
