Brittany Carloni is the new state government and politics reporter for Wisconsin Watch.
Although Carloni brings fresh eyes to covering state government in Wisconsin, she’s no stranger to the Badger State. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Marquette University and interned for Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service before it was part of Wisconsin Watch.
For the past five years Carloni has been a reporter at the Indianapolis Star, where she covered local and state government and carved out a new beat covering Indiana’s congressional delegation.
At Wisconsin Watch, Carloni will also be revitalizing the “Forward” newsletter as Wisconsin Watch continues to focus on the levers of power and what comes next in the center of the political universe.
Wisconsin Watch is a nonpartisan, nonprofit investigative news outlet that is also a 501(c)(3) charitable organization operated by a professional staff under the guidance of a nationally noted board of directors. Wisconsin Watch’s legal name is the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism (WCIJ Inc.).
