Sara Century joined the staff of the Iron County Miner recently, working as a writer, reporter, and photographer for the newspaper while working with newspaper page layout and set-up of various jobs at the print shop, as well.
Century said since 2014, she’s worked as a freelance journalist for websites like SYFY, IGN, Polygon, and Adweek, among others.
She said she spends most of her “free time” running a photo and video company called Sympathetic Lightning, “which dovetails with my work at the Miner nicely.”
“It is great to work at a place that is such a cornerstone for the community,” Century added in her Aug. 8 introductory story that appeared in The Miner, “and I have appreciated learning from the pros working behind the scenes here.”
