What’s the deal with the ‘Donate Today’ button in the Weekly Briefing?

“Dane’s Donors” is named for the unofficial WNA mascot and WNA office Top Dog, Dane Blumer (owned by WNA Office Administrator Daryl Blumer) and intended to recognize donors to the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Foundation.

The WNA staff recently decided to draw attention to the WNA Foundation by placing a “Donate Today” button at the top of the Weekly Briefing, similar to the newsletters of other state newspaper associations.

We’ll be listing donors to the WNAF by listing their financial contributions under a special segment called “Dane’s Donors,” named for the unofficial WNA mascot and WNA office Top Dog, Dane Blumer (owned by WNA Office Administrator Daryl Blumer).

It’s a fun way to recognize WNAF donors, support the WNAF and encourage donations by the public and members of the WNA!
