Ethan Ferrell rejoined the staff of Adams Publishing Group Southern Wisconsin newspapers on May 12, 2025. He will report on the villages of DeForest, Windsor, Waunakee, Marshall and McFarland, along with the cities of Monona and Sun Prairie, according to an announcement from The Waunakee Tribune on May 16.
Ferrell previously worked in the same role from October 2023 until September 2024. He recently returned from teaching English for middle and high school students in Châlons-en-Champagne, France for seven months.
The Madison native and McFarland High School graduate earned a degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023. To reach Ferrell, email eferrell@hngnews.com.
