According to a April 21, 2025 story in the Beloit Daily News, on Thursday April 17 and Friday April 18, the Daily News moved out of the space at 444 E. Grand Ave. that the newspaper has called home since 2020 and relocated to its new space at 690 Third St.
The new location is on the ground floor of the building that is attached to the Ironworks Campus by a walkway.
The Beloit Daily News traces its history back to 1848 when the Beloit Journal first published. In 1870, the Beloit Journal was bought out by the Beloit Free Press. In 1879, a weekly newspaper called The Outlook came into being. It was converted into a daily in 1886 called the Beloit Daily Citizen. The Daily Citizen then became the Beloit Daily News.
