The Appleton Post-Crescent introduced the USA TODAY Network Style Guide to readers on April 11, 2025.
The tool “embodies our unwavering commitment to clarity, accuracy, consistency and transparency in journalism. This guide is not only a valuable resource for journalists but also a free tool for our community, in- cluding students, teachers, bloggers and anyone with a passion for writing,” wrote Taima Kern in the story introducing the guide.
The guide’s goal is “to provide clarity and accuracy in reporting, addressing con- temporary issues and nuanced terminology with precision and sensitivity.” The guide is available via a link on the newspaper’s website.
