Entitled “Learning about local journalism” and “Sharing about local journalism,” the Antigo Daily Journal on April 11 published stories about the experiences of ADJ job shadower Katrina McGeshick and shadowee Chelsea Deloria.
The stories showed mutual respect for the other person’s perspective and experiences.
“She wasn’t just going through the motions — she wanted to understand the purpose behind each step, each decision we make in this field,” Deloria wrote about McGeshick.
“Chelsea is an inspirational individual, having her own column in the newspaper where she talks about staying true to herself,” McGeshick wrote about Deloria.
