Rick Malecha retired Feb. 14, 2025 from the Frederic-based Inter-County Cooperative Publishing Association after 41 years with the company. He was honored with a farewell lunch at the Pour House in Siren on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Malecha began his tenure with the company on March 9, 1984 and worked under three of the six editors at Leader newspapers.
Malecha said he will miss seeing his co-workers on a daily basis, but looks forward to spending more time on the golf course and with his grandchildren.
