Adams Publishing Group recently announced new titles for some of its merged publications in Southcentral Wisconsin.
On Feb. 13, The Courier will join forces with several surrounding communities to create a new publication. Marshall subscribers will join The Star circulation area, which includes Sun Prairie and Windsor/DeForest. Waterloo subscribers will have access to an publication with Cambridge/Deerfield, Cottage Grove/McFarland/ Monona and Lake Mills to create the Leader Independent.
The combined publication will continue its coverage of Waterloo, but add even more depth from surrounding areas — and have more resources to devote to Waterloo.
The Leader Independent — in print form, on its website and in its e-edition and corresponding app — will contain the news and advertising content readers currently receive in four publications — The Leader, The Waterloo Courier, The Cambridge News & Deerfield Independent, and the Herald-Independent & McFarland Thistle.
On Feb. 14, the Waunakee Tribune, Lodi Enterprise and Poynette Press will see some changes as they become one larger newspaper — the Tribune Enterprise.
The Tribune Enterprise will continue its coverage of Waunakee, Lodi and Poynette but will just be packaged all in one expanded publication.
