Pam Mathes has been promoted to general manager of O’Rourke Media Group’s holdings in Wisconsin, according to an announcement published earlier this month.
Mathes formerly served as director of sales operations for the company. In her new role, she will direct employees working in the business office, graphic design and sales.
Prior to joining the group of Wisconsin newspapers, Mathes served as marketing manager for Aliant Consulting in St. Paul, Minnesota, and worked as a recruiter for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. She attended Illinois Central College.
O’Rourke Media currently operates in six states with a full-service digital agency, 24 publications and hyper-local websites. Its Wisconsin publications include the Tri-County News, Tempo and Verve women’s magazine in Kiel; the Sheboygan Sun, Ripon Express, Ripon Commonwealth Press, Great Dane Shopping News in Madison, Verona Press, Oregon Observer, Stoughton Courier Hub and Fitchburg Star.
