This year’s theme is “newspapers are relevant,” with supporting themes of “newspapers are local, are trusted, support you and need your support.”

A package of resources to help promote the effort is available here. It will continue to be updated in the coming weeks.

This year’s resources will include:

  • A presentation that can be presented to civic groups or those that may be interested as to why newspapers remain relevant. This presentation is courtesy of The Relevance Project.
  • A catalog of 100 images that can be used to promote National Newspaper Week, courtesy of METRO Image.
  • Social media creative for you to copy and paste into your channels — just add #newspaperpower.
  • House ads, courtesy of CODA Ventures and the Free Speech Center, showcasing the power of local newspapers.
