Mark Lewis, publisher and president for the Wisconn Valley Media Group, has been promoted to president of the Tulsa World Media Group.
Lewis has served as publisher of The Times since 2009 and, following Lee Enterprises’ acquisition of United Communications Corporation in 2019, his role of publisher was extended to the Kenosha News and Lake Geneva Regional News. Prior to his time in Wisconsin, Lews served as publisher of The (Kauai, Hawaii) Garden Island.
In announcing his promotion, Chris White, president of Lee Enterprises Western Media Group said that “Mark developed a reputation for delivering outstanding performance and for developing strong, high-performing teams.”
During his time in Racine, Lewis was active in the community, having served as the chair of the board for the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce, vice chairman for the Racine County Economic Development Corporation and as a member of the board for the Wheaton Foundation.
Stephanie Jones, editor of the Regional News and former editor of The Times, will oversee news as the southeastern Wisconsin regional editor. She will work directly with Adam Rogan, news editor of The Times, and John Sloca, news editor of the Kenosha News.
Clint Wiedholz will continue to manage advertising in Racine and Rob Ireland will continue to oversee advertising operations in Kenosha and Lake Geneva.
