Polco users and readers visiting WNA member websites from Feb. 10 to 22 were asked what they believed was the most important issue for elections and voting in 2022. We asked this question as a follow-up to our previous poll, in which respondents selected election security and/or voting rights as the top governmental priority for 2022.
Out of 587 respondents, 53% said voting rights and/or voter suppression were the most important election-related issues, while 21% said misinformation and disinformation were most important. Twelve percent of respondents chose election security and/or integrity as their top priority, while another 13% were split among other options.
