Multi Media Channels has purchased The Sentinel & Rural News, the Owen-Withee weekly newspaper announced last week. The sale was finalized Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Publishers Travis and Nicole Rogers announced their decision to sell and bid farewell to readers in their respective columns. They plan to continue contributing to the newspaper, including writing weekly columns.

The Rogers were part of a four-person team that started the newspaper in March 2014. Also part of that team was Kris Leonhardt of MMC, a connection that helped facilitate the sale.
Multi Media Channels also publishes the Campbellsport News, Clintonville Tribune-Gazette, The (Green Bay) Press Times, Kewaskum Statesman, (Mayville) Dodge County Pionier, (Merrill) Foto News, New London Press Star, Stevens Point City Times, The Portage County Gazette, Tomahawk Leader, Waupaca County Post and (Wausau) City Pages.
