Brandon Reid, editor of the (Manitowoc) Herald Times Reporter since 2015, will now also serve in the same role for The Sheboygan Press, the newspaper announced Monday.
In addition to leading the Manitowoc newsroom, Reid has previously been a content coach for watchdog reporters across the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin group and also served as interim editor of The Sheboygan Press. Prior to his time in Wisconsin, Reid was editor of The Rock River Times in Rockford, Ill., for 12 years.

Reid takes over the role from Matt Piper, who had served as editor of The Press since 2019. Piper also has been a content coach for health, education and business reporters across the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin group.
Piper is moving to a new role in which he will oversee in-depth reporting projects for USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. The role will focus on major stories, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, across the group’s 11 daily newspapers.
