Patrick Wood, Multi Media Channels CEO and publisher of its weekly newspapers and other publications, has released a new book, the company announced this week.
The book, “Dear Reader: Meditations, Musings and Moments in Time,” is a compilation of columns Wood has written for MMC newspapers over the last four years. In the book release announcement, it is described as a “beacon” intended to uplift and enlighten readers.

Wood previously published another book, “Tapestry of Love and Loss,” a compilation of poetry and other writings. All profits from Wood’s books are donated to Wisconsin organizations focused on eradicating homelessness.
MMC publishes nine weekly newspapers, the Campbellsport News, Clintonville Tribune-Gazette, The (Green Bay) Press Times, Kewaskum Statesman, (Mayville) Dodge County Pionier, New London Press Star, The (Stevens Point) Portage County Gazette, Tomahawk Leader and Waupaca County Post. It also publishes more than a dozen free distribution publications and several magazines.
