Results available for large summer events poll

Polco users and readers visiting WNA member websites from May 19 to 31 were asked what large events they planned to attend this summer. We asked this question as many annual summer events return amid the reduction of pandemic safety measures such as masks, distancing and capacity limits.

Out of 616 respondents, 36% said they planned to attend July 4th parades or fireworks and 33% said they would be going to music festivals or concerts. Interest in the remaining options was lower as state or county fairs was selected by 22% of respondents and Brewers, Bucks or other sports by just 16%.

Thirty percent of respondents selected “none of the above,” some of which expressed concerns about those who have not been vaccinated and others said the options presented simply did not interest them. The final 15% of respondents said they planned to attend all of the events listed.
