Geraldine “Gerry” (Horwitz) Mueller, who worked in the Fond du Lac area as a newspaper reporter and writer, died Friday, March 5. She was 82.
Born May 24, 1938, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of Hyman and Helen (Fayta) Horwitz. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from the city’s Rufus King High School.
On Dec. 16, 1961, Glen Mueller and Gerry Horwitz married at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Mueller worked as a reporter and writer for The (Fond du Lac) Reporter and Kewaskum Statesman.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, March 9, at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
