JOPLIN, Mo. – The International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors is seeking entries for its annual Golden Quill contest, which recognizes excellence in editorial and opinion writing.
Newspapers published fewer than five days per week are eligible to enter. Entries are due by Feb. 1 and must have been published between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2020.
Each newspaper may submit up to four entries, and individuals can be credited for up to two entries.

Original tearsheets are preferred, though PDFs also may be submitted.
The entry fee is $10 per entry for ISWNE members, $15 for non-members and $5 per entry for students.
