KENOSHA — Longtime southeastern Wisconsin journalist Pete Wicklund has been named managing editor of the Kenosha News, the newspaper announced Tuesday.
He replaces Bob Heisse, who was named executive editor of the River Valley Media Group. Wicklund has spent the last 21 years with The Journal Times, which like the News is a Lee Enterprises newspaper. He started in the Burlington bureau and has gone on to serve as a police reporter, copy editor, photographer and most recently, assistant managing editor.
