John Ingebritsen, publisher of Morris Newspaper Corporation of Wisconsin, Lancaster, has been elected to the WNA Board of Directors as the weekly newspaper representative for the Southwest region.

Ingebritsen began his first term on the WNA Board of Directors in 2009 and served as president of the board in 2017-18. He also was president of the WNA Foundation Board of Directors from 2008-09.

Ingebritsen has been in the newspaper business for 34 years, including 18 as publisher with Morris Newspapers. He oversees The Monroe Times, The Boscobel Dial, Crawford County Independent & Kickapoo Scout, Fennimore Times, Grant County Herald Independent, The Platteville Journal, (Darlington) Republican Journal, The Richland Observer and (Cuba City) Tri-County Press.

Ingebritsen succeeds Robb Grindstaff, who retired last month from his position as General Manager for Adams Publishing Southern Wisconsin.
